There are different home remedies for hives. These remedies are very simple but effective ways to lessen the appearance of the signs and symptoms of hives. These are the following.

- Avoid scratching the hives in your skin as it will further induce more problems and infection.

- Take a cold bath when itchiness persists. Add ice cubes to the bathtub and soak for about ten minutes. It will lessen the itchiness you feel.

- Avoid exposing to environment that cause hives attack. If possible, never go to places where allergens are present.

- Bee’s honey is believed to lessen the itchiness of hives. Take one tablespoon of honey to relieve the signs and symptoms of hives.

- For lighter hives, wash the affected area with soap but never rub it.

- Antihistamines are also a great help for relieving the signs and symptoms of hives.
